If you, or someone you know deserves to be awarded for their actions, nominations are currently open for 2025 GREEA Awards! Descriptions of the Awards Nominations are below.

AWARD CATEGORIES
- Instructor of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
- Rising Star / Rookie of the Year (Member must be within the first 3 years of being an Instructor)
- Distinguished Career
- Volunteer of the Year (Must Provide the Volunteers efforts throughout the year of 2025)
- New Outstanding Program / Course (Program/Course MUST BE a new unique Program/Course available to all)
CRITERIA
For each of the Awards, the following criteria must be met:
- Nominee must a current member for the year 2025.
- Current GREEA President, President-Elect and Immediate Past President are not eligible to receive.
- The award nomination form must be used with no additional documentation included and are limited to one.
- Signature of the person submitting the nomination is required. E-signatures will be accepted. Typed signatures will not be accepted.
- A hi-resolution photo is an image of 30+ dpi (1,000 KB or over 1 MB) resolution in a jpg, pdf, or tiff format of the nominee must be emailed to [email protected] by the deadline.
- All nominations must be typed. Handwritten nominations will not be considered.
- Entries received that do not adhere to these criteria will not be considered.
- The judges will be requested to consider the applicant's total personality and lifestyle to ensure that the winner will be held up to the public as “the best of us.”
- The Awards Committee reserves the right to ask for additional information.
